MEET OUR PRINCIPALS

 

 

David Perry

President

David Perry has over 40 years of international  energy project development experience. Mr. Perry founded TES over 20 years ago and developed projects for major companies, conducted due diligence on many projects for investors, negotiated existing project acquisition and identified quality equity partners and asset management for operating projects was Vice President for Asia Business Development at Globeleq, the fastest growing power company in the emerging markets. Mr. Perry worked with many international independent power producers completing due diligence, engineering studies, finance studies, and contract negotiations in US, India, China, Malaysia, Cambodia, Saudi Arabia, Oman, UAE and the Philippines. Prior to founding TES,  Mr. Perry held executive positions with major corporations.  Through out his career, Mr. Perry has been involved in the successful development of projects totaling over $ 3 Billion dollars. Mr. Perry is a registered professional engineer and holds an engineering degree from Penn State University.   He has worked in all phases of a projects life from early design and site location through to operations and problem resolution

 

Kenneth Leung

Vice President and CFO - Financial and Administrative Affairs

Kenneth Leung has over 30 years of professional experience of an accounting, analytical, and auditing nature.  Prior to joining TES, Mr. Leung had worked 20 years in the financial services sector with administrators and managers of investment funds.  In these tenures he performed, reviewed, and/or over-saw the accounting, analysis, and reporting for a multitude of investment funds and business development companies.  Prior to Mr. Leung’s entrance into the financial services sector, he worked for 10 years with multi-national manufacturers and a top-tiered auditing firm.  This work history involved companies such as PriceWaterhouseCoopers, Johnson & Johnson, Prudential, John Hancock, BNY Mellon, and Brown Brothers Harriman.  Mr. Leung has extensive expertise in the compilation of financial statements, in financial modeling, in general accounting, in managerial (or cost) accounting, and in internal controls.  Mr. Leung is a graduate from The University of Texas with a baccalaureate in business and a specialization in accounting.  Mr. Leung has also been certified as a public accountant.

 

Jawdat hage

Vice President - Development

Jawdat Hage has seventeen years of experience in the infrastructure and energy industries including twelve years in private equity and venture capital environments. Prior to joining TES, Mr. Hage was VP of Mergers and Acquisitions at Renewrgy Corp. where Mr. Hage directed and managed all acquisitions and developments activities.  Through out his career, Mr. Hage held management positions and his demonstrated experience is in developing, acquiring, financing and managing international infrastructure projects. Mr. Hage has been actively involved in identifying and developing new applications for concentrated solar power technologies and project opportunities in other types of renewable and alternative sources of energy. Mr. Hage has international experience covering North America, Europe, North Africa and the Middle East. Mr. Hage holds a post-MBA from MIT, an MBA from the Sorbonne University and a Bachelors of Architecture from the Lebanese American University.
